comX 90CA-RE supports all leading Real-Time Ethernet and industrial communication protocols — including PROFINET, EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, Open Modbus/TCP, CC-Link IE Field Basic, POWERLINK, and Sercos — plus IIoT protocols such as OPC UA and MQTT. It also accommodates both slave (device-level) and master configurations, enabling flexible deployment. -
Easy — and fast — integration
The module is designed to drop directly into field-device hardware: it uses a standard SPI host interface with a 50-pin SMT connector and dual-port memory, minimizing redesign effort. Firmware-based protocol switching enables rapid adaptation to different network standards — just load the appropriate firmware. -

All communication tasks are handled internally by comX 90CA-RE. Your target device’s processor is free to handle application logic — improving reliability and simplifying software architecture. -
